Super Fruity is a collaboration between Mats Dahlberg and emmalyn mueller that explores themes of identity, sexuality, and queer joy. Through painting, printmaking, fiber arts, and other various multimedia approaches, they highlight the dichotomy of their queer experiences while extending an invitation for viewers to step into their fruity rainbow fantasy.
A series of garments and photo documentation of drag performances that invite the viewer to look back so that we can all move forward. Made possible in part by the Albert P. Weisman Award through Columbia College Chicago.

DRAG
MATS is a performance artist and costumer who uses the queer art of drag to cultivate and embody personas that explore the post-gender, post-human, natural, supernatural, and mystic.
PAST WORKS
MATS has experimented with many mediums of art making from painting to collage, printmaking to fibers and soft scultpure.
